Good Morning Nanchang!!!

We would be lying if we said that Nanchang was clean, well kept up and smelled good. Often we are shocked at the piles of rubble everywhere, unidentifiable pools of liquid and solids in the streets and sidewalks and the constant noise of scooters, yelling people, car horns and people loudly clearing their sinuses. Get the idea? Carol swears she will burn her shoes when she gets home. BUT, the people here are so full of life and friendly. They smile, talk to us, help up cross the street, and give Lilah pats. We love these people. No one averts their eyes and walks quickly past strangers here, they look you right in the eye and smile. We have so enjoyed meeting people here in Nanchang, Americans could learn something from their openess. We went out to dinner tonite and walked home in the dark through the streets filled with families outside their stores, playing and talking. There are NO street lights, so everything is dark! We took a picture of these great kids playing, and they were so silly and happy to see us,they kept yelling "Good Morning" to us through the darkness as we walked by....
Good Morning!!!

Oh I am so glad people are friendly there! Doesn't that make it so much easier?
In Fujian they didn't like me one bit and got ticked if I took pictures of them! But Guangxi and Wuhan people we friendly.
