Another Day in Nanchang

Day something here in Nanchang, Carol here, doing the blog so Anne can have more time to sit and stare at the wonder that is Lilah. She will be translating for us soon, as she is picking up English faster than the cars and scooters zooming outside our window night and day. Our outing for the day was to the lovely Peoples Park in the city of Nanchang. Elderly people doing Tai Chi to opera music, intense badminton playing, and lots of children with their grandparents made this town seem not quite so unhospitable. Of course, being the dopes we are, we forgot both our cameras so no pictures to share! Having Lost in China moments the past couple of days, went on a search for coffee this afternoon as our Starbucks Instant supply is running precariously low. The hotel lounge was very helpful once they got the manager over to figure out exactly what the American giant wanted. Two cappucinos, not only were they delicious, but they arrived at the lounge complete with a bellboy to bring them to our room and place them gently on our desk.
This hotel ROCKS! Anne and I have picked our favorite bell boy, this one pushes our elevator button every afternoon between noon and 5pm. Missing all my family and friends but having a grand adventure with a great friend and a lovely soon to be American little girl.

Lilah is beautiful and what a happy little girl. She so blessed to be in your family. Before long you will need running shoes to keep up with her.

I am an Adapted Physical Education teacher and work with preschool. Wish she was in my class. It would be so fun to work with her. And a SN Momma
