We woke up this morning, our first day as a family of five. Luke is still asleep; Casey has to be awakened and sent to school, poor kid, and Ross is completely in love with his little Brother.
Travel went relatively without a hitch, except for a 2 hour delay in Newark, but Luke is the consumate traveller, and was far less whiney than the rest of us. He is now officially an American Citizen. One big change after another.
We were greeted at the airport by the Grandmother's and Big Brother who were troopers given that we didn't show up until almost 11pm. Gaga has been living in our house for 2 weeks. Ross warned us not to be too surprised by "Gaga's Home Concepts.P She organized all our drawers and closets and our house was spotless when we got home (best present ever). Other Grandmoher filled our fridge and brought baby formula with Extra Lipids!!! Heaven.
Now we get to sit around and wait for our friends to bring us meals (although I'm actually excited about taking Luke to Publix).
We'll write more later but wanted everyone to know Luke and we got home safe! We took no pictures, because after 28 hours of travel (not an exaggeration) we won't be showing people any photos of how we looked last night when we got on the blessed ground that is home.
