New info on Luke. As you may know, China is currently experiencing the worst winter on record. Travel is at a standstill, the more rural provinces have had no water or electricity. Many cities are running out of food. We received a call from CCAI about what's going on in Le Ping! Luke's foster parents apparently have no heat or water, so he has been taken to the Orphanage. He is going to stay there until we get him on February 17 (that's a week from this Sunday). Not sure what to think about it. Is his little heart broken? Will this make coming to us easier or harder? We have no idea. At least he will be warm.
Some babies staying warm in the orphanages...not Luke, by the way.
As for us, we will spend the weekend prepping for the trip, tomorrow after we pick up our "clean money" (that's unwrinkled bills, a must have for China travel); attend a meeting of families that have adopted from China recently hosted by our friend Jodi (www.jodianddave.blogspot.com) who adopted the lovely and talented Ava Mei last year; clean the house so Ga Ga can move in with Ross while we're gone, and pack (Sweet Fancy Moses)!
Thank you to all our friends and family for the absurd amount of support, love, and kindness over the last year, perhaps our next Blog will be from Hong Kong!

Millsmore family,
We received your information from our social worker at CCAI. We are on our way to China too. We're wondering if you are in Detroit right now (10 a.m.) If so, e-mail us at tammy@zemel.org.
Anne, Mike, Casey, and Ross,
I was so excited to hear the news that this is it! I will be thinking of you while you travel and checking the blog often for updates. I am so happy for you! Congratulations!
