Loving the Coi at the HotelOscar Night is usually a big deal in our family, this year, they will pass with barely a whisper, the usual build up will be replaced by simple emails from home. We will spending Oscar Night, or morning in our case, taking Jun Bug to get his third (and least important) medical exam and prepping for our trip to the Consulate.
Yesterday we him blessed, along with our oldest baby, at the Temple of the Six Banyan Trees. Very cool.
Luke is more and more alert. He is also more and more stubborn. The joy we had yesterday with the success of the Congi, was met today with stubborn refusal. The same big smile and complete unwillingness to unlock his jaw. Two steps forward, one step back. He does continue to eat tons of formula so we are taking this in stride. Today the important Fed Ex package should be arriving with all of Luke's nutrient rich American formula.... The other family, Laurie and Charlie, who need it for their little girl Jill ordered it for both of us. Keep your fingers crossed that it arrives, these babies really need it! We are starting to count the days until we can get home to Ross and my intrepid mom who has been holding down the fort valiantly. Not an easy task with two high maintenance dogs, a bunch of fish and a very naughty cat! We miss them all, but most of all Ross. We can't wait to hug and hug and hug him!

Jun is a beautiful little boy! Glad to hear he is doing better every day...can't get over the congee. Our little guy refused to even taste the stuff after he discovered banana bread at the buffet. The texture thing is tough going, but he will get it along with the chewing. I loving seeing the way your daughter looks at him in the pictures. It's so sweet and tender. Hope things keep going well. I bet you miss Evelyn. She is the best!
