Monday, May 5, is Luke's first surgery. He will be placed under general anesthesia and the his Achilles Tendons will be cut (ugh!) and he will be placed in his long lasting casts. We have all the confidence in the world in our Doctors, but are totally dreading it. We are worried about his reaction to anesthesia, we're worried how much pain he will be in when he is recovering, we're just plain worried.
To top it off, Anne has to return to work later this week.
We are asking for your prayers, best wishes, emotional outpourings, or whatever spare positive thoughts you can spare Luke and us. We will send a follow up post after the surgery.

I am sure he came through it like a trooper. Sorry you have to go back to OG at such a critical time...but this is what grandmas are for!
