Cousin Carol is visiting from California. We're thrilled to have her and let her cook for us! She is a former punk with a special flair, so she did Luke's hair for us...

Our guide in Jiangxi, Evelyn, said that the people of China pay lots of money to have body in their hair, Little Luke was lucky to get it for free!!!

What's he doing new...

He's become fascinated by yawning. His eye contact is periodic, but the second you yawn he will whip his head in your direction and give you a huge grin. We have no explaination.

He's finally getting the eye contact thing down. He still doesn't like to look people in the face in busy places, but at home, he's been delightful and funny, and snuggly. He's learned how to kiss (okay, technically, he licks your cheek), clap his hands, and mimics his brother's gum chewing (this was on video as well).

He is pre-crawling also (pushing up on his knees on the bed), this is huge given how little support his legs have provided him. Must be all the leg lifts with the casts on.
