We Introduce, With Love... Luke!!

We called on Friday to confirm that we weren't gonna get a baby this time, when Deniece told us "well, actually..." and let us know we had a pretty good shot at a match. So we were wringing our hands all weekend trying not to get our hopes up, but getting them up anyway, when this afternoon (giving us a whole different view of the date September 11)Deniece told us we have a match, if we want him. ARE YOU KIDDING US? Look at this face, look at the hair, look at the socks! Love at first sight. We are still debating the middle name at present but should make a decision soon.

Here's what we know about him. He is currently 9 months old, he's from Jaing Xi province, he is currently in foster care (a good thing, where he has grown like a weed), has at least 2 teeth and is said to have a lively personality.

So, what's next... paperwork, wait for our official letter of acceptance from China, then get on a plane, fly to China and if we are lucky, we'll have him by the New Year.
