Well, actually, no they're not. We get this question quite a lot. I suppose it's the whole 2-chinese-babies-with-white-parents-in-the-double-stroller mistake, so it's forgiveable. However, it's pretty funny to us, because our two youngest could not be any more different.Luke is thin as a rail, Lilah is appropriately curvy; Luke's eyes disappear when he smiles, Lilah has eyes like a doe; Luke is a head taller; Luke has feet;

We prepared ourselves for all the worst case scenarios: attachment problems, toddler sibling rivalry and disability adjustment problems. Why didn't we prepare ourselves for the best things? The love Lilah and Luke have for each other, and our spunky, happy little addition to the family. We needn't have worried, its all good.

Luke doesn't speak...much, Lilah is never silent; Lilah looks like a ballerina on point when she walks, Luke looks like Captain Jack Sparrow; Luke will sit a play with a toy or a book for hours, Lilah is constant motion, and wants to multi task; Luke cries when he falls even the smallest bump; you could drop an Anvil on Lilah's head and she would barely notice. If Luke sees Lilah doing something naughty, he will join her; if Lilah sees Luke doing something naughty, she'll squeal on him.
Luke is a healthy eater, heavy on yogurt, fruit, and mac n cheese and guacamole. Lilah likes starch...pretzels, cereal, rice and noodles, and also cucumbers. Luke likes stuffed animals and the boxes that DVD's come in, Lilah likes a broom and dustpan and bandaids (maybe they are twins, they're both a little goofy).

Hi, thanks for posting on my blog and letting me know who you are! Your children are beautiful and Lilah of course is gorgeous! I loved the post on "twins" as we are in the process of adopting from the waiting child program again (at this point it is a secret from most people) and I am hoping for virtual twins....
Everyone looks so happy and so beautiful! Glad things are going well for you guys! The love between "little people" is so priceless!
